Hi, I'm Mal and I Used To Be a Good Blogger...

Wow, I've officially turned into the worst blogger of the year.  I don't even know what happened, but I just fell off the face of the blog world for a few weeks.  After an email from one of my favorite C&C readers I realized I have been completely out of the loop! 

Well, I am here and was busier then ever while on my brief blogging hiatus...

I turned another twenty-something year older.  I was lucky enough to spend my birthday toasting some great friends at their beautiful wedding in the Legendary State.

Cocktails & Cashmere turned another year older.  A big thanks to all you that have been following along listening to my random musings for the past two years.  I promise to return to being a better blogger.

I realized I'm no longer a twenty-something newlywed.  I need to work on revamping my blog as I don't think being married 2.5 years constitutes being a newlywed anymore.

I planned another wedding!  My little event planning business is slowly getting its legs...I wish I had time to invest all the work and energy needed to make it what I would adore it to be... maybe someday.  I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with a lovely bride and put together a fabulous Labor Day weekend affair.  Yes, it was a lot of work and I slept for 2 straight days after it was over, but I loved every minute!

I got a new job!  I start a week from Monday and SO excited for this wonderful new opportunity!  It's going to be a great change for me professionally and personally.

I got a new car!  My cute little Jetta just wasn't going to cut it for another winter of driving so Hubby MD decided to finally get me an SUV!  We settled on a Mazda CX-7!  My first ever brand spanking new car!  I can't wait to pick it up bight and early Saturday morning!

I plan to return to regular posting, and I hope you will continue to read about my crazy busy twenty-something life!
